Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications, with a strong focus on performance, responsiveness, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build with Gutenberg block themes, patterns, and theme.json alongside classic and page-builder-based sites.
• Create responsive and user-friendly front-end layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Build and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and shortcodes.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and plugin conflicts.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and payment gateways.
• Work with cross-functional teams including designers, SEO experts, and project managers.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and version control (Git).
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in WordPress development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress architecture.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce, multilingual sites (WPML/Polylang), and custom plugin development.
• Working knowledge of the Gutenberg block editor, block themes, and Full Site Editing (FSE).
• Good understanding of REST APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
• Proficient with version control tools like Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website accessibility standards.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Headless WordPress, React/Next.js, or JAMstack approaches.
• Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, AWS, etc.).
• Knowledge of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Eligibility

• 2–5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Available to work on-site in Gurugram.
