At the heart of NAAM JAP is the NaamJap (NAAM) token contract, an ERC-20 on Polygon that governs the entire token supply and acts as the on-chain source of truth for balances.
What the contract enforces on-chain:
- Capped, scheduled minting: Tokens are issued in fixed batches at set time intervals, with a hard cap of 108,000,000,000 NAAM that can never be exceeded.
- Automated issuance: Minting can run automatically once each interval passes, with no manual intervention.
- Role-based control: Only authorized minters can create tokens; an owner manages roles, and a dedicated pauser can halt activity in emergencies.
- Burning: Any holder can permanently burn their own tokens.
- Built-in safeguards: Reentrancy protection, address validation, and an emergency pause secure every transaction.
