What is Hyperledger?
Hyperledger is now an open source which is created for the advancement of cross-industry blockchain technologies. Linux Foundation including the leaders of various industries hosted the Hyperledger.
Hyperledger boosts the cross-industry by increasing the performance of the blockchain. The aim of the Hyperledger is to support the open source protocols across various industries. The features offered by Hyperledger are Open source security, Scalability, Longevity, transparency, and confidential transactions.
What is the Linux Foundation?
Linus is the world's largest open source software project. The home of Linux creator Linus Torvalds and lead maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman is the Linux Foundation. A neutral home is provided so that the Linux Kernal development is protected and accelerated from time to time.
Hyperledger Caliper is one of the blockchain benchmark tools and is a Hyperledger project hosted by The Linux Foundation. This tool helps users to measure the performance of a blockchain. Initially, the developers from Oracle, IBM, Bitwise, Hyperchain, and Huawei contributed to Hperledger Caliper.
Hyperledger Cello is one of the Hyperledger projects hosted by The Linux Foundation. With the help of Hyperledger Cello, the efforts required for creating, managing and terminating blockchains are reduced. Hyperledger Cello provides multi-tenant chain service with efficiency.
Hyperledger Composer is a set of collaboration tools which makes solving problems simple and fast for business developers and owners by creating smart contacts and blockchain applications.
Hyperledger Explorer is a Hyperledger Project hosted by The Linux Foundation. It is designed for creating a user-friendly Web page, application, transactions, Hyperledger Explorer. Initially, IBM, Intel, and DTCC contributed to Hperledger Explorer.
Hyperledger Quilt is a Hyperledger project hosted by The Linux Foundation.
It is a business blockchain tool. Hyperledger Quilt implements Interledger Protocol (IPL) and is designed to transfer values across ledgers.
Types of Hyperledger Framework
Hyperledger Sawtooth helps in deploying and running the distributed ledgers by providing a modular platform. Without the need for a central authority, digital records are provided by distributed ledgers.
Hyperledger Iroha is a part of blockchain and one of the projects of Hyperledger hosted by the Linux Foundation. Hyperledger Iroha is written in C++. Soramitsu, Hitachi, NTT Data and Colu contributed to Hyperledger Iroha.
Hyperledger Fabric is a part of blockchain framework and one of the projects of Hyperledger hosted by the Linux Foundation. For the development of the applications with a modular architecture, Hyperledger Fabric allows components to plug and play.
Hyperledger Burrow is a part of Hyperledger projects hosted by The Linux Foundation. Monax contributed to Hyperledger Burrow and it was co-sponsored by Intel.
Hyperledger INDY is built for the purpose of decentralized identity. It is a distributed ledger. It provides libraries, tools, and components for creating and using identities digitally which are rooted on the blockchain.
