From the moment I graduated college, I’ve worked in industries that helped people to find and create the spaces of their dreams. There’s something almost sacred about that. Home is where you find peace and balance. It’s a respite from the world – a sanctuary. ”My path to becoming a designer was an interesting one. I’ve worked in showrooms and as a real estate agent. Because of these experiences, I’ve come to see that there’s a fundamental need in human beings to create spaces that reflects them – and provide a haven from the rest of the world. “That inspired me to create Matthew Yee Interiors. For more than 15 years, I’ve combined these experiences to help design residential interiors and commercial spaces that truly reflect who my clients are. Of course, I infuse my design style into each project – creating spaces that are open, peaceful, and elegant. Part of that inspiration comes from my Asian heritage, part of it comes from years of helping clients turn ideas and inspirations into real spaces that they love.
